The Wolves took both contests, scoring a goal in each of the first two periods to shut out Kiski Prep 2-0 at Galactic Ice on Thursday Feb.17, then coming back dfrom a 1-0 deficit on Friday Feb. 18 with three final-period goals to win 3-1 at the Indiana Ice Center.<br \/>\nHigh-scoring Craig Thompson (Spring Cove) scored both goals in the Thursday game and Wolves goal keeper Fred Dorman (Bellwood-Antis) stopped all 11 shots on goal to notch his third shutout of the year.<br \/>\nThompson scored the first goal with 5:01 on the clock in the opening period with assists from Gage Dunkle (Spring Cove) and Kyle Hopkins (State College) and then just managed to get the second score in before the buzzer, scoring with 0:45 to go in the second period.<br \/>\nIn the Friday game, a Kiski Prep goal midway through the first period, was the only score in the first 24 minutes of play.<br \/>\nCentral PA came back with a vengence however to score three times in the final 12-minute period to improve their regular season mark to to 12-3-3, including nine wins in their last 10 games and five in a row. Kiski Prep falls to 3-13.<br \/>\nHopkins scored just 13 seconds into the third period to knot the score at 1-1, with assists from Thompson and Seth Duffy (Bedford). Chris Carthew (Chestnut Ridge) put the second goal into the net a mimnute and a half later, and Thompson added some insurance with the third gola of the period. Both of the final two scores came on assists from eighth-grader Jamin Solensky (Cambria Heights).<br \/>\nNeither team was able to score in the last 8:45 of the game.<br \/>\nDorman stopped all but one of 20 shots on goal by Kiski Prep, while the Wolves peppered the Kiski Prep goal with 33 shots getting three through for goals.<br \/>\nThe final two regular season games for the Wolves are Monday, Feb 28 at 6:00 p.m. vs. Altoona Mt.
