Reffner, 77, of Box 451 Igou Road, RD 2, Tyrone, died Friday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2004 at his home after an extended illness.<br \/>\nHe was born July 17, 1927 in Logan Township, a son of the late Harry C. and Katherine (Cromer) Reffner. He married Louella M. Williamson on July 5, 1947 in Bellwood.<br \/>\nMr. Reffner is survived by his wife of 57 years; a daughter: Katherine M. McCloskey and Husband, David of Bellwood; grandson: Jack McCloskey and wife, Tara of Bellwood; great granddaughters: Kayla, Haley and Madalyn; brother: Fremont C. of St. Augustine, FL; sister: Isabel Colledge of Tempe, AZ.<br \/>\nMr. Reffner was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott McCloskey.<br \/>\nHe retired in 1983 as a maintenance supervisor at Bellwood-Antis School District.<br \/>\nMr. Reffner was an Army veteran serving during World War II.<br \/>\nHe attended The Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood.<br \/>\nHe was a member of the Keystone Antique Car Club.<br \/>\nMr. Reffner enjoyed restoring antique automobiles and woodworking.<br \/>\nFriends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004 at the funeral home by Rev. Barry Vance.<br \/>\nInterment at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.<br \/>\nIn lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Southern Care Hospice, Roaring Springs or the Bellwood Excelsior # 1 Fire Company.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. George C.
