The District V\/VI-AA semifinal game between the number two-seeded Golden Eagles (9-1) and number three seeded Mounties (9-1) will take place Friday night at Gray-Vets Memorial Field. Game time will be 7 p.m.<br \/>\nIn Week Five, at Philipsburg, the Mounties scored on a long touchdown pass in the first quarter and with the help of a stingy defense and Tyrone miscues, knocked off the then-undefeated Eagles 7-6. Including the Orange and Black\u2019s first-round playoff triumph, Tyrone has won five straight games since, while outscoring the opposition 206-44 since running into the speed bump at Philipsburg.<br \/>\nPhilipsburg-Osceola, whose only blemish was a 6-3 overtime defeat to Bellwood-Antis in Week Six, defeated Chestnut Ridge 31-14 on Saturday.<br \/>\nBellwood-Antis (9-1), which demolished Laurel Valley 52-8 in first-round playoff action, will face off against undefeated Juniata Valley (10-0). The District VI-A contest will be played Saturday night at Bellwood Memorial Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils have won nine straight since a season-opening loss to Tyrone.<br \/>\nJuniata Valley shutout Moshannon Valley 27-0 in a rematch from earlier in the season on Saturday night. The Hornets, who have allowed just 20 points in 10 games this season, have the area\u2019s top-ranked defense.<br \/>\nIn other playoff games this weekend, on Friday night, top seed Blairsville (10-0) will host Bishop Carroll (8-2) in a District VI-AA semifinal contest. Johnstown (8-2) will play Bellefonte (6-4) in the District VI-AAA championship game at Mansion Park. Clearfield (10-0) will host Bradford in the District 9-AAA championship finals. Curwensville will host Clarion in the District 9-AA semifinal. In a District 5-A semifinal contest, Berlin Brothersvalley will host Conemaugh Township.<br \/>\nOn Saturday, eighth seeded Central Cambria, (6-4) which upset top seed and previously undefeated Bedford in overtime, will attempt their second straight upset at Bishop McCort (8-2), in the other District V\/VI-AA semifinal. Erie McDowell will meet DuBois at Slippery Rock in the District 9-AAAA championship game.<br \/>\nThe weekend will get underway on Thursday night when Northern Bedford hosts North Star, an upset winner over Windber last weekend, in the first District V semifinal. Northern Bedford had a bye through the first round.<br \/>\nAt a date and time to be announced, eighth seed State College (7-3) will play top seed Central Dauphin (8-1) in the quarterfinals of the District III\/VI-AAAA playoffs.
