The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society\u2019s 2008 Picture Perfect Pet Calendar contest drew 49 contestants who turned in donations to help homeless animals, raising almost $14,000, maintaining the record as the shelter\u2019s biggest yearly fundraiser.<br \/>\nA familiar face once again took top honors. Pugsley, owned by Tracy Zerby and Kevin Kunsman of Hollidaysburg, got the \u201chat trick\u201d for earning the most money for the third year in a row. Pugsley had a little help from friend, Mea this year!<br \/>\nLocally, Harry and Ann Dillon of Vail took fourth place, with their dog, Emmilou. They raised $1,025.60 thanks to local support, and Emmilou\u2019s photo, taken by Ambience Photography, will appear as the November feature for the calendar.<br \/>\nCPHS is currently in the design stage of putting together the calendar. Printing is expected in late August or early September and the calendars will then be distributed and available for sale ($7 each or $5 each to paid CPHS members).<br \/>\nListed are the month winners with amounts raised.
