The Tyrone Youth Baseball Association and the Tyrone Area YMCA are sponsoring a Fall Baseball League.
\nDave Brisbin will be the head instructor and the age group involved will be 8-12 years of age.
\nTeam size will be limited to 10 members per team.
\nGames will be played on weekends and will begin on Saturday, August 14 and end on Sunday October 17 and will be played at the Tyrone Youth Baseball Field.
\nThe time for games will be Saturdays at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 12 noon and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m..
\nGroups of five that come together will be maintained on the same team.
\nGroups supply their own equipment.
\nNew Line Visible baseballs will be used.
\nUmpiring clinics will be offered throughout the season.
\nPlayers clinics will be offered throughout the week.
\nHats and shirts will be provided.
\nThe deadline for registration is July 24 , 2004. A registration fee of $50 per child is required. Make checks payable to Tyrone Youth Baseball League.
\nRegistration is not limited to Tyrone Area School District. The Altoona and Bellwood areas as well as others have already been contacted about the possibility of teams entering the Fall League.
