After the second week of the Tyrone Summer Junior High Basketball League, we find that all three teams with identical 2-2 records.
\nIn Game One this week, the Olympians defeated Team USA by a score of 25-16. Josh Bradley was the high scorer for the Olympians with a league-high 16 points, while Nate Dane scored 11 for Team USA.
\nGame Two featured The Gladiators and Team USA with The Gladiators taking the measure of Team USA in a close ballgame 24-21. Bruno DeGol fronted the Gladiators attack with 13 points and Levi Reihart and Nick DeGol each scored six points for Team USA.
\nIn the final game of the day, The Gladiators evened their record with their second win of the day, edging The Olympians by a singled point, 22-21 in the closest contest of the opening two weeks of the Tyrone Summer League. Leading the way for The Gladiators was Bruno DeGol with 13 points and Josh Bradley scored eight points for The Olympians.
\nThe next games will be Thursday, July 8, at the Tyrone Area High School gym beginning at 7 p.m.
