Philipsburg State Police
\n A two-vehicle accident, Thursday morning at the State Route 220 and Fowler Hollow Lane intersection caused injuries to five people.
\n A vehicle operated by 79-year-old Elwood E. Walk, of Tyrone, was attempting to turn left onto Fowler Hollow Lane, from the northbound lane or Route 220. He apparently failed to yield the right-of-way to a vehicle operated by Andrew J. Pitteroff of Topsham, ME.
\n Walk\u2019s vehicle was struck in the front by Pitteroff\u2019s vehicle after Walk pulled into Pitteroff\u2019s path. Walk\u2019s vehicle then spun counter clockwise and was again struck by Pitteroff\u2019s vehicle. Walk\u2019s vehicle spun of the berm of Route 220 and came to a rest against a wire fence. Pitteroff\u2019s vehicle traveled off the west berm of 220 and eventually came to a rest in a field.
\nWalk was taken to Tyrone Hospital with moderate injuries. Four passengers in Pitteroff\u2019s vehicle were injured and taken to Mt. Nittany Medical Center for treatment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The state police were assisted at the scene by members of the Port Matilda Fire Company.<\/p>\n

\nSeventeen-year old Justin Wilson of Tyrone was critically injured in a Wednesday evening traffic accident in Snyder Township.
\nState police report he was traveling north on Deckers Hollow Road, shortly after 6:30 p.m., Wednesday and his van went off the road for unknown reasons. Wilson was flown via medical helicopter to Altoona Hospital for head injuries.

\nPolice indicate a 59-year-old Latrobe area truck driver was involved in a DUI-related incident while operating a commercial tractor trailer on Wednesday afternoon in Antis Township. Kenneth E. Miller was reportedly under the influence while operating his rig and traveling South on Interstate 99 at the intersection of State Route 4018 at 2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Huntingdon State Police
\nA 26-year-old Warriors Mark man has been charged with simple assault and harassment in a domestic dispute incident which occurred Monday at his residence along Dry Hollow Road.
\nHarold Wheland Jr. was charged with simple assault and harassment after the incident involving 23-year old victim, Amanda Clouser, also of Warriors Mark. Wheland was arraigned before District Justice Richard Wilt of Huntingdon. Bail was set at $20,000 and Wheland was committed to Huntingdon County Jail.

\nA 44-year-old man, known to police but not identified by them, is considered a suspect in an unauthorized use of a vehicle case in Warriors Mark Township.
\nThe suspect allegedly borrowed Josephine Taylor\u2019s 1985 Ford LTD and failed to return it. The incident happened along Taylor\u2019s Lane on Monday at 7 a.m. The vehicle is described at a two-tone gray colored vehicle with a Pennsylvania Registration number FJC4631.

\nThe UniMart at the intersection of State Route 550 and 350 in Warriors Mark Township was the scene of a pump and walk away then drive away incident on Tuesday night.
\nThe suspect pumped $10.01 worth of gasoline and failed to pay for it. He told the clerk he had no money and would come back later and pay for it. However, he did not return to the store.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
