The Tyrone Junior High boys basketball team jumped out to a 17-2 over visiting Bellefonte on Wednesday, only to be outplayed over the last three quarters, and lost by a 55-45 score.
\nThe Little Eagles trailed only 24 – 23 at the half, but couldn’t regroup in the second half.
\nTyler Hoover led the scoring with 14 points, while Wade Branstetter tossed in 11 for the
\nEagle junior high, now with a 6-7 record on the season.
\n Tyrone’s eighth grade team improved their record to 9-2 with a 19-17 win in the first game.
\nChris McCaulley led 10 players in the scoring with seven points. Jason Tuskovich added six, while John
