On September 18, 2008 Mary D. Paulhamus died after a lengthy illness at St. Elizabeth Nursing Center in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late James C. Davis and Marie Gherrity of Tyrone, PA.
\nMrs. Paulhamus was an honor\u2019s graduate of Hood College in Frederick, MD and held an artist\u2019s diploma of music in New York. She served on the facilities of Hood College and of St. John\u2019s elementary and high schools.
\nShe is pre-deceased by her husband, Major Edward B. Paulhamus, her daughter, Catherine W. Paulhamus, and one granddaughter, Natalie E. Paulhamus.
\nShe is survived by her daughter, Marie S. Paulhamus and son, Thaddeus Paulhamus, and one granddaughter, Namara Mary Elkattan.
\nRelatives and friends may visit the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD 21227 on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
\nA mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD beginning at 10 a.m.
\nInterment will follow on Wednesday, September 25, 2008 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Tyrone, PA at 1:30 p.m.
