TACO is playing in the best of three semifinals against Ritchey Well Drilling of Hollidaysburg in the 15 and 16-year-old division of the VFW Teener League.
\nGame one Tuesday night saw a tremendous game that TACO won in eight innings 4-3, behind the strong pitching from Eric Loose and Eric Desch.
\nSid Amerini from Ritchey Well Drilling matched their performance.
\nEric Loose was also the hitting star as he led the team with three hits and three RBI\u2019s. Johnny Shaffer also had a hit with an RBI. Doug Rudy, Eric Desch, Chris Decker, and Evan Brush could only generate hits from this tough match up.
\nGame two of the best of three is Friday night in Hollidaysburg, with game three, if necessary on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Ferner Field.
