Byron and Audrey Troxel Cox.<br \/>\nOn Oct. 3, 1944 at the First United Brethern Church in Oklahoma City, OK she was married to John L. Sweitzer, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1986.<br \/>\nShe is survived by two daughters, Jane L. Springman, wife of Karl, of Beaver, and Judy A. King, wife of Karl, of Altoona; five grandchildren, Julie Allison, wife of Steve, of Beaver, Karl Springman Jr. and wife Sunday of Tucson, AZ, John King of Hollidaysburg and Karen King, and Cyntia Wise, wife of Douglas, both of Altoona; and two great-grandchildren, Julia Wise and Jeffrey Allison.<br \/>\nAlso surviving are three sisters, Jean Wilson of Tipton, Doris Garber and Nancy McEwen, both of Tyrone; two brothers, Joseph Cox of Cox Springs, LA., and Calvin Cox of Tyrone; a sister-in-law, Joan Gunsallus of Beaver, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.<br \/>\nShe was a 1943 graduate of Tyrone High School and a life member of the Tyrone Church of the Brethern. Before moving to Conway in 1968, she was employed as an executive assistant at the former Vincent Horowitz Shoe Company in Altoona.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held Wednesday, July 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Rev. Warren MacEachern officiating.
