Whitaker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gerald Allen Whitaker, 31, of RD #5 Box 129-B Taylor Road, Tyrone, died early Sunday morning July 6, 2003 as the result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on Route 865, Reade Township, Cambria County.<br \/>\nHe was born June 18, 1972 in Buffalo, NY, a son of Theodore Allen and Evellyn M. (Fusco) Whitaker.<br \/>\nMr. Whitaker is survived by his mother, with whom he resided, an uncle, aunts and cousins.<br \/>\nHe was preceded in death by his father, who passed away on April 12, 2000.<br \/>\nMr. Whitaker was the owner of Gerald\u2019s Motor Sales, Bellwood.<br \/>\nHe was a 1991 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School, where he played football and was a member of the wrestling team. He also attended Penn State University.<br \/>\nMr. Whitaker enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating and attending auto and motorcycle auctions.<br \/>\nFriends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the funeral home with Rev.
