Rebecca Jane (Becky) Beck, 71 of Stormstown, died July 4, 2003 at the Bon Secours Hospital following an extended illness.
\nShe was born August 22, 1931 in Bellefonte, the daughter of Charles and Carrie (Young) Keith who preceded her in death.
\nIn 1953, she married Robert M. Beck who preceded her in death on January 16, 1971.
\nShe is survived by a daughter Becky and husband Darrell Snow of Summerfield, NC; five sons: Robert M. and wife Mary Jo of Warriors Mark; Chuck and wife Deb of Stormstown; Leroy and wife Debra of Stormstown; Stanley and wife Sue of Port Matilda and a son Martin.
\nShe is also survived by 15 grandchildren and four sisters: Ester and husband Ralph Homan of Spring Mills; Sarah and husband Robert Amick of Bloomsburg; Gladys Woodring of Spring Mills and Pauline and husband Emery Woll of Pleasant Gap.
\nShe was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
\nShe was known as the \u201cPie Lady\u201d at the Port Matilda Volunteer Fire Company.
\nShe was a self-employed caregiver for the area elderly and was formerly employed by Park West Manor of State College and in the food service department at Penn State.
\nShe was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School.
\nFriends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home in Warriors Mark. Funeral services will be at the funeral Home Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 11 a.m.
\nInterment will be at Centre Line Cemetery.
