Marjorie M. \u201cMaggie\u201d Price, 77, of RD#5 Box 93 F, Tyrone, died Friday morning, May 23, 2003 at Bon Secours Holy Family Hospital after a brief illness.
\nShe was born February 1, 1926 in Altoona, a daughter of the late P. Albert and Irene (Barr) Berry.
\nShe was twice married, first to Louis Grassmyer Sr., who died in 1962 and then was married to Harold O. Price on June 3, 1967 in Winchester Va..
\nMrs. Price is survived by her husband, a daughter: Darlene Musselman and her husband Fred of Altoona; three sons; Danny Grassmyer and wife Sharon of Warriors Mark; Louis Grassmyer Jr., of Bellwood and Joe Grassmyer and wife Susan of Tipton; a step-son Craig Price of Denver, Col.; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Albert Berry Jr., of Altoona and Robert Berry of Tyrone and three sisters: Louise Wieder and Doris Grum both of Altoona and Geraldine Ross of Mountain Top.
\nShe was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick and Michael Grassmyer; a granddaughter Tammy Jo Williams; a great-grandson Vincent Lee Williams and an infant brother Roy Berry.
\nMrs. Price was a 1943 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired from Marianna\u2019s Foods in Tipton in 1998.
\nShe was a member of the Riggles Gap Bible Church, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
\nMrs. Price was also an avid bingo player.
\nFriends will be received today from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
\nFuneral services for Mrs. Price Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor William Ice officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
