Romano, 81, of 2216 Columbia Avenue, Tyrone, died May 18, 2003 at 1:30 a.m.<br \/>\nShe was born February 27, 1922 in Tyrone, a daughter of Guido and Mabel (Kling) Romano.<br \/>\nSurviving is a sister, Patricia A. Romano of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.<br \/>\nMrs. Romano was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She formerly was employed at Big Yank, Tyrone and Wilson Chemical Company, Tyrone. She enjoyed reading and Froggy radio.<br \/>\nFuneral mass will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at 3 p.m. at St. Matthew\u2019s Church with Father Joseph T. Orr celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. There will be no public viewing or visitation.<br \/>\nMemorial gifts may be made to the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library, 1019 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, Pa. 16686.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gloria M.
