F. Elaine Clark, 73, of Vail, Tyrone RD #3 died Sunday, April 27, 2003 at 8:20 a.m. at her home.
\nShe was born August 25, 1929 in Alexandria, a daughter of Charles Frederick and Theresa (Brenneman) Kidd. On November 7, 1954 at Kenmore, NY, she was married by the Rev. Theodore T. Lehmann to William E. Clark.
\nSurviving is her husband, a son William Frederick wife Mary of Vail, a grandson Justin W. of Vail, a sister Josephine Mark of Huntingdon, her mother-in-law Margaret Clark, a resident of Epworth Manor and nieces Diana Mark-Paff of Harrisburg and Beth Ann Mark of Wilmington, De.
\nMrs. Clark attended the Huntingdon schools and the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. Elaine was employed as a maternity nurse at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon and then as a general duty and head nurse at Tyrone Hospital where she retired in 1989. She also worked briefly for Blair Company, Huntingdon.
\nElaine greatly enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, gardening, yard work, walking in the woods and for a number of years, horseback riding. She was an avid reader and liked to quilt, sew, cross-stitch and work with stained glass.
\nFuneral services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
\nFriends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
