Thses are mostly all-star games, in which the best players get an opportunty to have some fun and get to know their counterparts from other teams. A chance for players, coaches and fans to come together one last time before the athletes go on to college or university or trade school, job or service. A chance to show the talents and skills that have been developed over the past three or four years in varsity competition.<br \/>\nTonight, the 11th Annual Summit Quest All-Star Classic will be played at Chestnut Rudge High School. The girls\u2019 game will kick off at 6:30 p.m., with the boys\u2019 contest following at 8 p.m.<br \/>\nThe format is North versus South and will feature players from two states, eight counties and 29 school districts.<br \/>\nCoaches for the all-star classic are Lee Stanek of Cambria Heights, North girls; Joe Brumbaugh of Northern Bedford, South girls; Mike Harris of Tyrone, North boys; and Barry Crawford of Northern Bedford, South boys. The Event benefits Bedford County Youth Achievement Association and will include a slam dunk contest and three-point shootout. Donation is $5 for adults and $3 for students.<br \/>\nIncluded on the rosters are Marie DelBaggio and Jo Turner from the Tyrone girls team. Tyler Mertiff was selected for the boys team, but will not play because of the PIAA rule allowing participation in only two all-star games for each sport.<br \/>\n\u201cI\u2019m excited to get the opportunity to coach in this game,\u201d said coach Harris. \u201cIt\u2019s a great time and there are some incredible athletes here.\u201d<br \/>\nRosters include:<br \/>\nNorth girls- Lauren Lingenfelter, Rachel DeGol, Hollidaysburg; Marie DelBaggio, Jo Turner, Tyrone; Sarah Bradley, Bishop Carroll; Danielle Lantzy, Cambria Heights\u2019 Ashley Bartlebaugh, Juniata Valley; Jami Oaks, Forest Hills.<br \/>\nSouth girls- Ashley Severa, Williamsburg; Lydia Tritt, Bedford; Megan Frankenberry, Chestnut Ridge; Casey Imler, Everett; Sheena Smith, Jenna Love, Shawna Clark, Northern Bedford; Ashley Albright, Tussey Mountain; Sara Priest, Ferndale; Bethany Mellot, Southern Fulton; Karen Knight, Bishop Walsh; Becky Vance, Fort Hill; Tracie George, Winber.<br \/>\nNorth Boys- Tyler Franklin, Chris Buchanan, Altoona; Tom Forr, Bishop Guilfoyle; Zach Griep, Travis Sissler, Hollidaysburg; Tyrler Mertiff, Tyrone; Landon Sinclair, Central Cambria; Rob Ranck, Cambria Heights; Shawn Krestar.
