Bald Eagle Area closed the gap to two points, but were never able to overtake Tyrone.<br \/>\n&#8220;After the great game we played last Friday (at Huntingdon), we were due a letdown. This was easily the ugliest win we&#8217;ve had all year,&#8221; said Coach Domenick. &#8220;We&#8217;re going to be playing teams we have defeated in earlier meetings, and the kids have to realize their performance level must improve.&#8221;<br \/>\nAdam Corle and Adam Shaffer led the scoring with 17 and 12 points respectively.  Jim Gillam added nine, all in the second half.<br \/>\nTyrone improved to 11 &#8211; 2, and travels to Philipsburg-Osceola Friday for a rematch with the Mounties.<br \/>\n Eighth grade<br \/>\nCoach Jim Cushion&#8217;s eighth grade team started the afternoon off by defeating Bald Eagle Area&#8217;s eighth grade team, 17-10.<br \/>\nTyler Golden led the scoring with six points, while Josh Bradley and Josh Shaffer dominated the boards with seven and five rebounds respectively.
