Central fell to 5-5.<br \/>\nJoanna Turner led the Lady Eagles with 16 points and 10 rebounds, recording her sixth double-double of the season. Marie DelBaggio added 10 points and nine rebounds and Amber DelBaggio hit for 12 points on four three-point baskets.<br \/>\nStill, there were moments of concern: Tyrone turned the ball over on four straight possessions in the fourth quarter while holding a double-digit lead. But for a team that played a December scheduled dotted with three Quad-A teams it wasn’t enough to dampen a quality win over an always tough Central team.<br \/>\nTyrone led 11-7 near the end of the first quarter after Turner scored six straight, but Central junior Kerri Hinish, who scored nine of her team-high 15 in the first frame, ended the period by hitting a three-point field goal and a lay up to put the Lady Dragons ahead 12-11.<br \/>\nThe Lead grew to as many as five (16-11) with under six minutes left in the half before Tyrone ripped off 13 unanswered points over a four minute period to go ahead by eight. Marie DelBaggio started the run with a basket off a rebound and Amber DelBaggio made it 20-16 when she connected from long range. The Lady Eagles used a full-court press to get a Lauren Haag lay in off steal by Marie DelBaggio, who stole the ensuing inbound pass and converted to make it 24-16.<br \/>\nCentral junior Krystal Ferry hit a three to bring the Lady Dragons back within five before Tyrone closed out the half on an 8-1 run behind five points from Hilary McNelis to lead 32-20 at halftime.<br \/>\nNicki Neil scored early in the third quarter to pull Central within 10, but Amber DelBaggio answered with another three-pointer to push the lead to 13 (35-22) and the Lady Dragons would get no closer than eight the rest of the way. Tyrone ended the third quarter on a 5-0 run and got six points from Turner in the fourth quarter to pull away.<br \/>\nHOOP NOTES: Tyrone finished the game with 17 turnovers with seven coming in the fourth quarter. Tyrone turned the ball over just once in the second … Haag ended the game with nine points while McNelis chipped in seven … Marie DelBaggio also<br \/>\nadded two blocks … the Lady Eagles travel to Bellefonte on Tuesday.<br \/>\nTyrone 57 Central 42<br \/>\nCENTRAL – Ferry 3 1-2 8, Feathers 3 1-2 7, Kel.
