Hollidaysburg-based state police report 25-year-old Lisa Dunklebarger of Altoona was killed in a single vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Sinking Valley.
\nAccording to police, Dunklebarger was northbound on state Route 1013 at an apparent high rate of speed when she lost control of the vehicle and began to spin clockwise off the roadway. Police said the driver\u2019s side door impacted with a tree, which caused the vehicle to spin counter-clockwise and eject Dunklebarger onto the roadway.
\nPolice said three passengers in the vehicle had to be extricated by fire and rescue personnel. All were transported to the trauma center at Altoona Hospital for treatment of injuries.
\nDunklebarger was pronounced dead at the scene.
\nThe accident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m.
