Marjorie L. Westley, 95, formerly of 208 Main Street, Northwood, Tyrone, PA, and a resident of Olivia Village, Old Rt. 220 for the past two years, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Olivia Village.
\nShe was born July 8, 1913 in Northwood, a daughter of Jesse Armstrong and Rhoda May (Thompson) Westley.
\nShe is survived by a brother Joseph P. Westley of Northwood, Tyrone and several nieces and nephews.
\nShe was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
\nShe was a member of the Tyrone Christ United Methodist Church since 1933 where she was active in the Friendship Sunday School Class and was a Primary Department Sunday School Teacher.
\nShe was employed at the Tyrone Laundry until its closing after 40 years service. She retired in 1975 after three years in the housekeeping department of Penn State University.
\nFriends will be received at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Barry E. Neal officiating.
\nInterment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery.
