\nThe Bellwood-Antis School District recently announced the dates and times for parent\/teacher conferences at Myers Elementary.
\nWith the end of the first marking period on October 29, it\u2019s time once again for conferences, where parents and teachers are encouraged to get together and discuss students\u2019 progress, as well as upcoming plans.
\nFor the parents of all kindergarten through fourth grade students at Myers Elementary, conferences are scheduled for Monday, November 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
\nParents should already have a scheduled time to meet with their child\u2019s teacher.
\nSpecials teachers such as gym, music, library and art will also be on hand. Parents are invited to stop by to see these teachers as well.
\nStaff development is also planned Monday between 1 and 3 p.m.
\nSchool will not be in session that day and students will also be off on Tuesday, November 11 in honor of Veteran\u2019s Day.
\nThe second marking period will end January 21, 2009.
\nAlso coming up this month is Thanksgiving break, which is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28.
\nChristmas break will fall on Tuesday, December 23 this year with students returning after the New Year on Monday, January 5.
\nDecember 23 and January 2 have also been marked as snow make-up days should they be needed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
