Joshua House will be hosting its eighth annual community Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday, November 25 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Joshua House.
\nThe dinner is open to the whole community at no charge.
\nIn years past, Joshua House has worked with the Tyrone Salvation Army Service Center and area churches to bring this free meal to the Tyrone area community.
\n\u201cEvery year, it serves between 125 to 150 people, and it\u2019s a great community event,\u201d added Jim Kilmartin, founder and director of Joshua House. “We welcome you all to join us. Tyrone is such a tight knit community, so we want to make this a family atmosphere. If you can’t join us, we offer delivery services as well. Just call ahead and let us know.”
\nKilmartin is currently looking for volunteers to help with the dinner as well as donations of food and paper products.

\nLooking ahead to Christmas, Joshua House will also be collecting items for Christmas gift giving.
