He was born July 15, 1947 in West Chester, PA to Joseph B. and Anna Margaret (Gorley) Groce.<br \/>\nSurviving are two daughters: Katie Groce and Susan Groce, both of Bellwood and one son, Matthew Rice.<br \/>\nHe was a carpenter. He was a graduate of West Chester High School and Williamson Trade School. He was in the U.S. Navy, Sea Bees during the Vietnam Conflict.<br \/>\nHe was a member of American Legion Post of Tyrone.<br \/>\nThere will be no public visitation.<br \/>\nMemorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, October 4 at the American Legion, Tyrone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harry Miles Groce, age 61, of 310 W. 11th Street, Tyrone, PA, died September 19, 2008.
