Carmen Y. Riley, 56, of Pennsylvania House, 2 W. 11th St., Tyrone died Friday June 20, 2008 at 9:50 a.m. at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
\nShe was born June 24, 1952 in Philipsburg, a daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Marjorie Ruth (Hamer) Riley.
\nSurviving are her mother of Tyrone, a brother, Wright and wife Sofie of Tyrone, nieces Shannon Riley, and Alisha Patton, nephews Bobby and Jonathan Patton and Kenny Riley and a great-nephew Zachary Patton. She was preceded in death by a sister Kay Patton on March 1, 2008.
\nCarmen had been employed for AT&T, Washington D.C. as secretary in government billing following 18 years service. She was previously employed at Chicago Rivet, Tyrone. She was a 1970 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.
\nCarmen was especially fond of and enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews.
\nFuneral services will be held Monday June 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Norman E. Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
