Van Norman of Fairfax, VA and the late Roderick A. Coopper. Nancy was happily married for 34 years to Fred M. Kaspick. More than anything, she enjoyed making a home for her husband and their son, Jason Andrew.<br \/>\nNancy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia School of Nursing and worked as a floor nurse at UVA Hospital and later at the Student Health Department and Eye Clinic.<br \/>\nHer last employment was with Humagen. She was a fabulous cook, a gentle and kind spirit and a fantastic friend.<br \/>\nOther survivors include her two brothers, Alan Robert Coopper, of Washington, DC and Brian Edward Coopper, of Alexandria, VA.<br \/>\nThere will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, April 12 from 2 to 4 p.m., culminating in a celebration of Nancy\u2019s life at the Hill &amp; Wood Funeral Home in downtown Charlottesville.<br \/>\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marine Comfort Quilts, c\/o Jan Lang, 1564 Hanna Rd., Valley Park, MO 63088.<br \/>\nFriends may sign her guest book at www.hillandwood.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nancy Coopper Kaspick, 56, of Charlottesville, died from complications of a long-standing illness on Monday, April 7, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
