Tressa C. Sipes, 90, formerly of Fostoria, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, March 31, 2008 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
\nShe was born on July 18, 1917 in Fostoria, Antis Township, a daughter of the late John and Jessie (Thomas) Morder.
\nSurviving are sons: Charles L. Morder and wife, Lucille of Tyrone RD 5 and R. Daniel Julius and wife, Marilyn of Stafford, VA; three grandchildren: Jim Morder and wife, Alice, Sue Ann Woodard and Jon Julius and wife, Missy; six great-grandchildren: Kimberly, Jessie, Natalie, Kristin, Eric and Fayth; a twin sister: Mildred Westover of Westover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
\nShe was preceded in death by a brother, Charles and a sister, Catherine Sneath.
\nTressa retired in 1979 as a knitting supervisor at Puritan Sportswear and also from Marianna Foods, Tipton with 20 years of service.
\nShe was a graduate of Bellwood High School.
\nTressa attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Bellwood and Tipton Baptist Church.
\nShe enjoyed archery competitions and ceramics.
\nAt the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing.
\nA funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood with Pastor John Pine officiating.
\nInterment at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
