Sarah “Sally” A. Dreibelbis, of Warriors Mark, died July 11, 2008 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College following an extended illness.
She was born in Rock Springs, Centre County, a daughter of the late Gladys (Barto) Fry and Brooks Fry.
On September 1, 1962 in Centre Hall she married Walter G. Dreibelbis, who survives.
She is also survived by children: Leanne R. Sible of Tyrone, Bryan E. Dreibelbis of Bellwood, Cheryl D. and husband James Krebs of Philipsburg and Bonita Sue and husband John Myers of Julian. Also, grandchildren: Kristen, Jessie, Savannah, Jacob and wife Lacy; great-grandchildren: Zachary, Logan and Breckin and two brothers: Frances of Wilkes-Barre and Wilford of State College.
Sally attended Warriors Mark United Methodist Church where she was a pianist and organist for 40 plus years.
She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed riding horseback and traveling.
She had worked for the Social Security Administration, retiring in 2005 following 28 years of service.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Peggy Bonsell officiating.
Place of burial will be Pine Hall Cemetery, State College.
Friends will be received at the Cox Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m.
