Violet M. Potts, 69, of RD4, Tyrone died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Tyrone Hospital.
She was born January 7, 1939 in Altoona, a daughter of John and Margaret Gilbert. On July 16, 1984 in Tyrone she married Robert E. Potts. He died June 13, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara McCloskey and husband David of Tyrone, 2 sons Robert T. and wife Dawn of Altoona, Jason E. of Tyrone and 3 grandchildren, Shawna and Harleigh McCloskey and Caleb Potts. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Mrs. Potts attended the Tyrone Alliance Church.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed reading and cooking.
Private viewing and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Blair Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Feller Memorial Home.
