God’s Big Backyard Vacation Bible School was jointly sponsored by Christ United Methodist, Wesley United Methodist, and First English Lutheran Church. Over 80 children were enrolled. During the week they were challenged to serve family, friends, neighbors, community, and Jesus. Service activities included making get well cards to be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, gift bags for Epworth Manor residents, and collecting food items for the Tyrone Food Bank.
