Kicking off the season
The 2008 Tyrone Golden Eagle football team took to the field last night at Gray Memorial Field in front of an excited crowd. The players introduced themselves to the many Tyrone fans who came out for Meet the Eagle Night. Coach John Franco announced the offensive and defensive starting lineup and the senior moms took the field to show off their talent, running a quarterback sneak to get the season started. The football team will officially take the field next Friday against the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils. (The Daily Herald/Amanda Golden)
