Theft
State police reported on August 20 that unknown actor(s) removed two keys from two different four-wheelers that had been sitting in an Ironsville property owned by John B. McGregor, 50, Tyrone. The actor(s) then pushed one of the ATV’s over a small embankment and into a stream. No damage was sustained to the ATV.

Burglary
On August 30, state police said that unknown actor(s) entered the Nealmont residence of Stephen M. Melhorn, 51, Tyrone and Louise Melhorn, 44, Tyrone, after removing a window screen in the kitchen area of the home. Once inside the residence, the actor(s) removed a wedding ring, prescription medication, and approximately $150 in U.S. currency.

Forced Entry at Unlimited Cycle Center
State police reported on August 30 that an unknown actor forced entry into Unlimited Cycle Center in Snyder Township, Tyrone, and entered the store showroom, attempting to remove four separate motorcycles (super bikes) by driving them through the show room to the rear of the store.
According to police, the actor apparently didn’t know how to drive a super bike, or it was too powerful for the actor to handle, and crashed three of the motorcycles inside the building during the attempts to remove them. The actor finally got one of the super bikes out of the rear door of the building and parked it along Rossman Road, approximately 400 feet from the building, and then fled on foot.
The alarm sounded to the building and a video recording system recorded all the action while it transpired.
The actor also injured himself and left blood at the scene. Blood evidence was collected by police and is being processed for DNA comparison. As soon as the video is processed, a photo of the actor should be released to the press to help identify the actor.
The investigation is pending. Anybody with information about this crime is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at Hollidaysburg. If somebody happens to know someone who has a possible right hand injury and can’t explain how it happened, that person could possibly be a suspect. This person also can’t know how to drive a motorcycle.

Criminal Mischief
On August 31, state police said that three teenage white females walked along Stadium Drive in Antis Township and wrote various sayings on approximately five street signs and reflectors with black marker. The actors were confronted by a victim and fled on foot towards Bellwood Borough. The investigation is ongoing at this time as video of the suspects is being reviewed. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP -Hollidaysburg at 814-696-6100.

Harassment
State police reported on August 31 that Heidi Garman of Smoke Run told police that a person known to her threw her to the ground and choked her during an argument. The incident occurred at 103 Teaberry Street, in Snyder Township, Tyrone.
