Sinking Valley native Arran Shields and Rotary International exchange student Eugenia Napadensky, both seniors at Tyrone Area High School, participated in cross-cultural and friendship-building activities with other exchange students and their host families at the Rotary District 7350 Annual Winter Picnic in State College. Eugenia is from Argentina and currently living with the Bradigan family, while Arran will travel in August to Belgium to spend a year with a host family and study with other Belgian high school students. More than 8,000 students a year have experiences like this through the Rotary International program. It’s an opportunity of a life-time. Are you ready for it?
