Members of the St. Matthew School council recently announced the Rawhide Rodeo will be coming back to Central Pennsylvania this summer for the third year in a row.
The rodeo will be held at the Huntingdon Fairgrounds on June 22-24.
The Rawhide Rodeo Company is based in Leicester, NY and performs throughout the USA and Canada, bringing high quality, high intensity performances to regional audiences.
With a significant monetary commitment from business sponsors and St. Matthew School, both International and American Professionals (IPRA and APRA) will be invited to participate in this year’s events.
Rodeo is a fun-filled family event that will attract attendees from all over Pennsylvania.
During the three-day performances, plans are in progress to entertain over 6,000 adults and children.
This is the only rodeo offered to Central Pennsylvania in recent years and the hope is to create and annual regional attraction which will be an exciting part of the area’s summer festivities.
St. Matthew School will partner with Forever Broadcasting, Fox 8/ABC 23 TV and Comcast Spotlight to promote the event to a variety of audiences on multiple formats.
The event will be publicized and advertised and everyone involved is excited about promoting this new attraction to a large regional audience.
The success of this venture will largely depend on the support from area business and industry who share the vision and excitement.
