Tyrone Hospital is pleased to welcome Bradley A. Barter, DO of University Orthopedics Center (UOC) to the Tyrone Hospital Medical Staff. Dr. Barter joins Dr. Christopher S. McClellan, Dr. William Andrew Tyndall, and Dr. Jack Rocco, also of UOC, in providing orthopedic care at Tyrone.
Dr. Barter is a specialist in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He completed his Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, PA in 2003. His training and experience includes unique competencies in treatment of foot and ankle, knee, hand, trauma and pediatrics.
Upon receiving his Medical Degree from Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, MI in 1997, Dr. Barter completed his internship at Botsford General Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University and his residency at St. Michael Hospital, an affiliate of Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Barter is board certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedic Surgery, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Dr. Barter resides in Port Matilda, PA with his wife Kelly and their three children. They enjoy traveling and boating.
