Wayne Paul Strohm, 60, of 2606 Northwest 78th Street, Lawton, Oklahoma, died at his camp at RR 1 Box 316, Tyrone, PA on Friday evening, April 27, 2007.
He was born April 10, 1947 at Upperco, MD, the son of Paul Leroy and Fae (Sunday) Strohm.
He was married May 17, 1973 to Sun Cha Yoon.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Wayne P. Strohm, Jr. of Union Bridge, MD and Paul L. Strohm of Hershey, PA, a daughter Hwasun Bailey of Dale City, VA, and step-sons Randall D. Watts of Germany and Ronald E. Watts of Tyler, Texas, his mother Fae Sunday of Hanover, PA, a sister Joan E. Schaefer of Reistertown, MD. and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, step-mother Dorothy L. Strohm and a sister, Kay Louise Vaughn.
He was a member of the First Baptist Korean Church and the Triangle Masonic Lodge of Lawton, OK.
He was a loving husband and father, an avid hunter and fisherman and loved nature and outdoors.
He retired June 1, 1996 as a Command Sgt. Major from the U.S. Army after 30 years service.
Interment will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Comanche Co., Oklahoma.
Friends will be received at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc. Tyrone, PA on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 4-6 p.m.
