Blair Senior Services and Tyrone Hospital are co-sponsoring a community education program entitled “Preventative Health: Steps You can take to Maintain Health and Prevent Illness”.
The program will be presented by Victor Santillan, M.D., Board Certified General Medicine practitioner and General Surgeon. Dr. Santillan has a practice in Tyrone and is an active member of the Tyrone Hospital medical staff.
People who attend the program will learn steps they can take to maintain and improve their health. They will also learn how taking preventative health steps can reduce their risk of developing illnesses.
“When it comes to preventative health, it is never too late to start,” said Dr. Santillan.
The program is free to the public and open to people of all ages.
The program will be held on Monday, May 7 from noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Tyrone Senior Community Center located at 503 3rd Street in Tyrone.

Those 60 or over are invited to have lunch. Please reserve lunch by calling 684-7853 by May 2.
