Kindergarten students at Tyrone Area Elementary School welcomed their grandparents into the school on Tuesday. Grandparents Day is an annual event for Kindergarten students and their grandparents at TAES. Students spend about half of the day with their grandparents. The students prepare a short presentation, give their grandparents a tour of the school, share a snack with them, and escort their grandparents to their classroom where they can show them their work or read to them. All Kindergarten classes participate in this event. Pictured here are students from Mrs. Raffetto’s and Mrs. Knarr’s classes spending the morning with their grandparents.
