Mrs. Nancy J. Keller, age 65, of 153 McMonigal Lane, Port Matilda died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 11:20 a.m. at the Tyrone Hospital. She was born May 28, 1941 in Lewistown, the daughter of Edward and Joanne Roberts Specht. She was preceded in death by her husband Sherman Keller. She is survived by a son Sherman R. Keller and wife Kitty of Williamsport and two daughters, Mary Jean Hartley and Charlene Shawley, both of Port Matilda. Also surviving are the following grandchildren-Edward (Daisy) Hartley, John Shawley, Nancy Ann (Jim) Fogelman, Shannon McMonigal and friend Jake Albright, Jennifer (Ray) Matts, Tracy (Amy) Butler, Sherman R. Keller II, Mike (Kelly) Shawley, and Kenny (Pam) Shawley and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Joann Clyber and a granddaughter Christina Shawley.
Mrs. Keller was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. She had been employed as a waitress at various restaurants in this area.
Funeral service for Mrs. Keller will be Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church with Reverend Patricia Gable officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at the church for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
