The Tyrone Community Players is gearing up to present the third annual Cabaret Night – USO Tour.
“This is my country, land of my birth / This is my country, grandest on Earth.”
These are the words sung by USO performers from eras gone by.
Service to country and patriotism comes in many forms. The USO always has and still does provide entertainment and refreshments to the brave, hardworking servicemen and women of the United States of America, both stateside and abroad.
On March 30 – 31, TCP will pay tribute to this dynamic organization, whose operation is vital to the morale of the men and women of the armed forces.
The arsenal of songs includes many old favorites such as “Give My Regards to Broadway”, “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”, “I’ll Be Seeing You”, “I’ve Got Rhythm”, “God Bless America” and many more.
The Players will take the stage at the Tyrone American Legion for everyone’s listening pleasure. The ladies of the American Legion Auxiliary will whip up some tasty treats for everyone’s enjoyment as well.
Tickets are available by calling 684-ART2 or 684-7940 (Alice’s Garden).
Join in honoring the troops, past and present, to benefit Tyrone American Legion Auxiliary and Tyrone Community Players.
