An accident between a snow plow and a car occurred on SR 350 in Snyder Township January 22.
This occurred as both vehicles were northbound along SR 250 near Snappy’s in Bald Eagle. A snow plow operated by Dennis Boscaino of Tyrone pulled over to let traffic by. A 2006 Pontiac sedan, operated by Wayne Longstreth Jr. of Osceola Mills attempted to pass the snow plow. Boscaino continued to pull forward in order not to block Snappy’s parking entrance and the tip of the plow struck the passenger side rear quarterpanel of Longstreth’s car. This impact send Longstreth into a spin and he traveled into a wooded area where the car suffered disabling damage to the undercarriage.
Boscaino and Longstreth were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

A one vehicle crash occurred on Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township, near the Logan Township line January 30.
Kevin Brandt of Altoona was traveling west on Riggles Gap Road. He swerved to miss four deer and went over an embankment.
