An Antis Township business has been the victim of theft.
PA State Police at Hollidaysburg report that an estimated total of $3,092 was stolen from Adult World during the time between November 1, 2006 and December 15, 2006. A clerk who worked at the store is the suspect in this case.

Burket Road in Tyrone Township was the scene of a one car accident on January 3.
Timothy Busche of Tyrone was negotiating a left curve in the roadway at the crest of a small hill. The wheels on his right side traveled off the roadway and onto the east dirt shoulder area. He then swerved to the left to come back onto the roadway, but crossed over both lanes of travel and onto the west shoulder of the road where he struck an electrical fence and fence post. His vehicle came to rest facing west along the west shoulder of the roadway in a cow pasture.

A Bellwood Police patrolman was the victim of aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment.
Bellwood Police were called to the McCaulley residence on North 3rd Street in Bellwood Borough on January 8 in response to a reported domestic incident. The patrolman was confronted by the suspect, a white male 57 years of age. The suspect threw coffee and then spit at the patrolman. The suspect repeatedly attempted to strike the patrolman with closed fists. The patrolman and suspect fell to the ground two times. The suspect was subdued at the scene. The suspect was treated at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
