David S. Swayne, 69, of Catonsville, Maryland, formerly of Tyrone died Sunday, December 24, 2006 in Catonsville following an extended illness.
He was born August 6, 1937 in Altoona, a son of Norman L. and Sara M. (Purdue) Swayne. He was married to Catherine L. Netherly in October 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Surviving are his wife, a brother Gilbert L. Swayne and wife Judy of Fostoria, two nephews and a niece: Daniel L. Swayne of Columbia, South Carolina, Gregory A. Swayne of Atlanta, Georgia and Aileen S. Luke of Hanover.
Mr. Swayne was a 1955 graduate of Tyrone High School and a 1959 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in electrical engineering.
He retired from Westinghouse, Baltimore as a project engineer.
Private burial and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
