A residence on Pot Pie Hill Road in Snyder Township was the scene of a burglary sometime between Oct. 6 and 14.
Police said someone entered a detached garage at the Robert Steele, Jr. residence and removed two chainsaws and a gas can. The chainsaws are described as an older model, all-steel Husqvarna 20-inch chainsaw and a Stihl, 16-inch “0-19” model tree trimmer chainsaw.
The items were valued at $295.
Anyone with information regarding the crime should contact state police in Hollidaysburg at 696-6100.

A theft of services incident happened at the Bellmeade Motel on Route 220 in Antis Township on Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m.
Police said a white female driving a blue Nissan Pathfinder was observed throwing an old chair into a trash dumpster paid for by the motel.
A registration plate from the vehicle was obtained and an arrest is pending.

A criminal mischief incident that happened sometime between 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 10 and 6:50 a.m. on Oct. 11 in the Bellwood area is being investigated by state police.
Police said the incident happened at the end of North Eighth Street in Antis Township when someone cut a fuel return line on a 1991 International Truck belonging to Nagle’s Disposal. The damage was listed at $45.
Anyone with information on the incident should contact state police.

A rural Tyrone man informed police of a burglary at his home along Grazierville Road that happened sometime between last Thursday and Sunday.
Police said Michael McCloskey of RR 5, Tyrone told them that someone entered his barn and stole a blue Yamaha 80cc dirtbike valued at $850. Police are continuing their investigation.

A rural Tyrone man was the victim of a a burglary, theft and criminal mischief incident at his residence along State Route 4020, in the village of Reightown, Antis Township on Saturday between 12:01 and 12:40 a.m.
Police said a neighbor alerted Michael David Anspach of RD 2, Tyrone that two ATVs belonging to him were abandoned a short distance from his home. Two men were seen running away from the ATVs toward the woods south of the Reightown bridge. Anspach was able to recover his ATVs before calling police.
An investigation revealed the suspects had removed a padlock from Anspach’s shed to remove the ATVs. The suspects also took $260 worth of ATV-related items from the shed. The recovered vehicles are valued at a combined $5,300.
Police said the suspects were not located. Anyone who may have seen loitering or suspicious people in the Reightown area in the overnight hours between Friday and Saturday are asked to contact state police at 696-6100.

State police released details on two incidents that happened at Greentree Village in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township, on Saturday evening.
The first incident happened around 8:30 p.m. when a 12-year-old male tried to stab several staff members with a wood screw. He also allegedly punched and kicked some of the staff members.
Police said the matter was being handled by Blair County Juvenile authorities.
In a separate incident that occurred about 10 minutes later at the youth home, police said a 16-year-old boy punched a 14-year-old boy in the face, which caused a nose injury.
Police said that incident is also being handled by juvenile authorities.

A 35-year-old Tyrone man, Eric James Daughenbaugh, was involved in a DUI-related car crash on old Route 220, in Northwood, Snyder Township on Sunday at 1:45 a.m.
Police said Daughenbaugh was driving north on the road when for an unknown reason, he drifted into the oncoming lane. He then over-corrected by steering his vehicle too hard to the right, causing it to spin clockwise.
The vehicle spun sideways into a slight embankment on the property of Roslyn Hamer. The car rolled onto its roof and came to a final rest upside down with its right side against the corner of Hamer’s house. The residence had minor structural damage.
An on-scene investigation resulted in Daughenbaugh being arrested for DUI. The case will proceed by summons, according to the state police release.
