Two teenagers were caught after a pump-and-run incident at Snappy’s in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township on Sept. 26 at 2:27 p.m.
Police said the juveniles pumped $10 worth of gas into a car and drove off. They were caught a short time later. The driver was 14-years-old and was also arrested for driving without a license.

State police investigated an attempted burglary at a residence located along State Route 220 in Snyder Township.
Police said someone attempted to gain entry into the home of Darl Leroy Merritts on Sept. 27 between 10:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. The person attempted to gain entry on the west side of the man’s mobile home. They were unable to gain entry and fled the scene undetected.

An ATV was taken from the Stetter Farm on Stetter Road in Antis Township during the overnight hours between Sept. 28 and 29.
Police said a Honda ATV was taken from Mary Stetter’s residence. It was found sitting along a stream about 300 yards from the residence.

A storage garage located along Vanscoyoc Hollow Road in Snyder Township was the scene of a burglary sometime between Sept. 30 and last Wednesday.
Police said someone pried open a metal door with a dead bolt lock on it and entered into a storage garage belonging to David Scott Bonsell. The person then left the scene undetected.

A 28-year-old Tyrone man, Shawn C. Wilson, was injured in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 4018, one-half mile east of State Route 4019 in Antis Township on Oct. 1 at 5:15 a.m.
Wilson was traveling east on the road when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. His car traveled off the road sideways to the right and struck a mailbox and its post. The vehicle’s right side then hit a tree.
Wilson received treatment at Altoona Regional Medical Center. His car had severe damage.
