The unidentified operator lost control and the vehicle hit a guide rail and went through the intersection. The vehicle left the road and hit a carport and a parked truck. The truck was then pushed into another parked vehicle next to it. The driver left the scene headed north on 865.

A Tyrone man, 29-year-old Mark Ernest Campbell, was involved in a vehicle accident along old Route 220, three miles north of Tyrone, in Snyder Township, on Saturday at 5:25 a.m.
Police said Campbell was traveling south on old 220, when he allegedly fell asleep and lost control of his pick-up truck. The vehicle slid from the north lane to the western edge of the road. The vehicle left the road and traveled onto the west berm.
At the first point of impact, the front end and undercarriage hit the front porch, steps and flower beds at the residence of William Reese of RD 3, Tyrone. The pick-up truck then traveled onto the driveway at the property and hit a parked pick-up truck. That truck spun to the right while Campbell’s truck continued to travel southwest. Campbell’s vehicle came to rest in Reese’s yard.
The parked pick-up slid into a parked car after it was hit by Campbell’s. The parked and unoccupied truck came to a rest facing south while the parked and unoccupied car it hit came to rest facing north.
Campbell refused treatment at the scene. Charges are pending while the investigation continues in the incident. Police are looking into the possibility of alcohol playing a role in the crash.
The Bald Eagle Volunteer Fire Company and (fire) police responded to assist at the scene.
