Bald Eagle United Methodist Church invites the community to its Sixth Annual "Carnival for Christ" at the church on Wednesday, September 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the fellowship hall and the Sunday School wing. If the weather is good, the carnival will be out back.
The carnival features live entertainment, food and drink booths (hot dogs $ .50, all other snacks and drinks $ .25). There are several booths with games and activities for children and youth, all are free.
These include but are not limited to: face painting, the fish pond, bean bag toss, helium balloons and weather permitting, the ever popular wet sponge toss.
The carnival officially kicks off the weekly “Wednesday for Christ” ministry that begins on Wednesday, September 20. This includes King's Kids (three-years-old to 5th grade). They gather in the fellowship hall for lessons and activities from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. J.C. Creations, the senior youth group for youth (6th grade through 12th) meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the youth room below the sanctuary. Adults are welcome to gather in the Sunday School Wing for Bible Study from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come and join in for the celebration.
