A Tyrone woman, 19-year-old Lindsey E. Rickards, was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Grandview Road in Antis Township yesterday at 5:45 a.m.
Police said Rickards was northbound on Grandview Road when she crossed into the southbound lane on a curve and hit a vehicle operated by 55-year-old Herchel V. Magnuson of Clearfield.
Rickards was taken to Altoona Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt. A juvenile female passenger was not hurt and was wearing a seat belt.
Magnuson was not hurt and was wearing his seat belt. Police said Rickards would be cited for a violation of the state vehicle code.
