A theft of a gun was reported to state police recently.
Police said someone entered the residence of Calvin Meredith Sharer along State Route 1019 in Snyder Township between 5 p.m. on July 19 and 7 p.m. on Aug. 8.
The victim said a Highpoint 9mm handgun was missing.

A Tyrone man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Aug. 12 at 10:45 a.m.
State police said Charles Benton III was driving a truck on Kerbaugh Road when he drifted off the road and into a ditch causing it to over turn.
Benton was not wearing a seat belt. His truck had moderate damage.

State police have reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
Police said the vehicle was found in the parking lot of DelGrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton last Wednesday at 9:45 p.m. The vehicle belonging to John S. Jenkins of Glasgow was described as a 1995 Dodge Dynasty sedan, grey in color and valued at approximately $500. Police said anyone with information on the theft should contact the Hollidaysburg State Police.

A Tyrone man escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 99, 1/4 mile north of the Grazierville exit in Snyder Township on Friday at 7:39 a.m.
Police said two trucks were involved in the delivery of asphalt for work on I-99. A dump truck operated by James Zimmerman of Alexandria was in line, parked and ready to back up to the paver.
Another dump truck operated by Jeffrey Snyder was backing up to get in line to deliver his load of asphalt. Police said Snyder did not see Zimmerman’s dump truck in his mirrors and struck Zimmerman’s truck.
Zimmerman also escaped injury. Both men were wearing seat belts. Police said Zimmerman’s truck had moderate damage to the grill area, radiator, hood and front windshield. It required towing. Snyder’s truck had minor damage.

A rural Tyrone man was the victim of a burglary on Friday at 9:15 p.m.
Police said three known suspects entered the residence of James Earl Bryan without his consent. Police said while the suspects were at the residence they consumed the victim’s alcoholic beverages and damaged a gun cabinet.
The investigation is continuing.
