Vacation Bible School concluded last Friday night at Christ United Methodist Church with children from Christ Church, Wesley United Methodist and Church of the Brethren presenting a program for parents and family. Attendance for \”Avalanche Ranch\” averaged approximately 80 children, third through sixth grades, and forty adult leaders each evening throughout the week in programs featuring a wild ride through God\’s Word. Bible stories, crafts and a variety of activities were highlighted each evening in celebrating God\’s love. The children also made two bears which included a special message in each pocket with one to be sent in a mission project and the other they could keep. Also the money collected in offerings will be divided between missions and a contribution to be made to the Tyrone Police Department as their way to help fight crime.
